How player reviews work
A review helps players understand a GM’s style and what it is like to sit at their table.
Your own experience
You can review a GM after a session on your roster has ended, including a directly paid or complimentary game. Confirm that the review describes your own experience. You do not need to keep an active seat, pay through QuestSeat or create a public profile.
What the source label means
“Attendance recorded by the GM” means the GM marked you as attending a past session when you first submitted your review. “Player-reported experience” means your verified player contact was on a past session’s roster and you confirmed that you took part. Neither label independently verifies what happened at the table or endorses the GM. Payment does not prove attendance.
What is public
Your chosen display name, rating, written review, selected strengths and review month appear on the GM’s page. Your email, campaign, session dates, payment details and private feedback do not. Choose a public name you are comfortable using; the GM may still recognise your experience.
One review, under your control
You have one review per player identity and GM. You can edit or withdraw it from Your review. A later review updates the existing one. Leaving a campaign, a failed payment or a refund does not remove an existing review or your right to edit it. Withdrawn text leaves the public page; revision history is retained.
Be specific and protect the table
Describe your own experience with the host. Different opinions, including negative ratings, are welcome. Do not publish another person’s private information, private table links, harassment, threats or hateful content. Do not impersonate a player or review your own business. Reviews must not be bought, traded for refunds or pressured into a higher rating.
Reports and removal
Use “Report review” beside a public review to explain a policy concern. Reports enter a private QuestSeat queue and do not automatically hide reviews. The GM cannot approve or remove reviews. Disagreement with a rating or opinion is not a removal reason. QuestSeat records moderation decisions separately from the author’s edits; editing a removed review does not automatically restore it.
